Every November, gratitude starts trending.
We see the daily lists, the 30-day challenges, the gratitude jars and journals. All of those are beautiful reminders—but sometimes they stay at the surface. Gratitude becomes a box to check instead of a rhythm to live.
What if this November became something different?
What if instead of counting blessings once a year, we learned to cultivate a gratitude mindset —one that shapes how we think, pray, and show up every single day?
That’s the goal of this Heart Fire series :
Gratitude That Transforms: A 4-Week Journey to Everyday Renewal
Over the next four weeks, we’ll journey together through what I call Gratitude That Transforms—a rhythm of everyday renewal that starts with how we think and flows into how we live.
🌿 Week 1 — The Mindset of Gratitude
Before habits can take root, the soil of our minds has to be ready. Gratitude begins as a way of thinking—renewing the mind and aligning it with the will of God.
→ Philippians 4:6–7 reminds us that gratitude shifts worry into worship and invites peace to stand guard.
🙏 Week 2 — Gratitude in Prayer and Presence
As gratitude becomes part of our inner rhythm, it naturally weaves into prayer. It’s not a checklist; it’s a conversation that draws us closer to the heart of God.
→ Psalm 100:4–5 teaches us to enter His presence through thanksgiving and praise.
✨ Week 3 — Gratitude That Transforms
When gratitude takes root, it begins to bloom. It changes how we see people, how we respond to challenges, and how others experience us. Gratitude becomes visible evidence of transformation.
→ Hebrews 12:28, Psalm 9:1, and James 1:17 remind us that gratitude is both our testimony and our teaching.
🌸 Week 4 — The Practice and Overflow of Gratitude
The more we live from gratitude, the more it overflows—into generosity, remembrance, and joy that becomes contagious.
→ Colossians 2:6–7 and Psalm 103:1–2 call us to live rooted and overflowing with thankfulness.
This isn’t about perfection or performing a new checklist.
It’s about presence—making space for gratitude to become second nature.
When we create room for gratitude to grow, peace begins to flow, and our hearts start to burn bright again.
So let’s begin this November not with a challenge to finish, but with a mindset and practice that transforms. Because a life built on gratitude doesn’t just count blessings—it reflects the Giver in everything.
Free Gratitude Journal 🩷
If you’d like to go deeper with this month’s Gratitude That Transforms series, I’ve created a free Gratitude Scripture Journal just for you.
It’s a 4-week guide designed to help you turn these weekly blog themes into daily, personal conversations with God. Inside, you’ll find five scriptures each week to pray through, reflect on, and journal with — plus a Heart Fire Moment reflection to close out every week.
Use it alongside each Monday’s blog post and join me on social media for extra encouragement, community conversations, and a few short video sessions throughout the month.

Let’s make this November more than a month of thank-yous — let’s build gratitude into a daily rhythm of renewal, one conversation with God at a time.
Stay Connected on the Journey
Each Monday in November, I’ll launch a new blog post with a fresh topic, scripture study, journaling guide, and prayer prompt.
If you haven’t subscribed yet, you can sign up [here] to get real-time updates as each post goes live.
Throughout the week, I’ll share extra journaling prompts and opportunities for community engagement on my social platforms. If we haven’t connected there yet—consider this your personal invitation to jump in!
Invite Your Community 💬
My Heart Fire is to build a Heart Fire Hub—a space where we encourage one another, stoke the fires of passion and purpose, and help keep the hair fires of chaos tamped out.
I’m still dreaming and designing what that space will look like, but step one is gathering a community right where we are. You can help by inviting your friends, small groups, or online circles to join us on this gratitude journey through the blog, the journal, and through the connection points above.
Putting out the hair fires and stoking His heart fire!
