Lean In. A Conversation with God.

Sometimes, when things are hard, or we're seeking help, or just need a little extra TLC, we can slip into victim mode. We adopt a helpless mindset that says we can do nothing to resolve our situation or make it better. In that victim mindset, we sit and wait for someone to come and make things better for us. Or, we sit and wait for things to change. God's instruction calls us to adopt HIS victor mindset. In Him our victories are won. But we can't just sit there. He instructs us to draw near to Him.

When It’s Too Much… Look Up.

In the midst of chaos, when it feels like the world is closing in and every breath is a struggle, there is a gentle whisper calling us to look up. It's the voice of God, reaching out to us with arms of love and comfort. Just as a parent soothes a distressed child, He beckons us to fix our gaze on Him, to find solace in His presence. In those moments of overwhelm, when despair threatens to consume us, we have a choice: to stay in the chaos or to run to the arms of our Heavenly Father. It's a choice between drowning in our fears or finding refuge in His embrace.

Letting God Read to You: Intimacy with Scripture

Have you ever experienced the difference between reading something for information and engaging in a heartfelt conversation about it? It's like the contrast between reading a manual and having a deep, meaningful discussion with a close friend. When it comes to scripture, it's easy to fall into the trap of treating it as a mere educational tool, a list of do's and don'ts to follow. But what if we approached it differently? What if we let God read His Word to us, personally and intimately, inviting us into a nurturing relationship with Him? That shift changes everything. It transforms scripture from a set of instructions into a heartfelt dialogue, a journey of intimacy with the One who loves us beyond measure.
