Gratitude isnโt about everything looking perfectโitโs about trusting the One who is. When I trade grumbling for gratitude, peace replaces frustration and joy returns. True gratitude isnโt reactionary; itโs a mindset that anchors my heart in Godโs faithfulness, no matter what my circumstances look like.

Setting fresh start intentions but feeling stuck in self-doubt or comparison? Remember, God speaks well of youโHe blesses you with words of love and affirmation. He never tires of hearing from you or walking with you through your repeated 'try again' moments. When lies whisper that youโre 'too much' or 'itโs time to give up', listen to His voice saying, 'See [insert your name]? Sheโs/He's my child. I never grow weary of her/him. I love her/him so much.'
Sometimes, when things are hard, or we're seeking help, or just need a little extra TLC, we can slip into victim mode. We adopt a helpless mindset that says we can do nothing to resolve our situation or make it better. In that victim mindset, we sit and wait for someone to come and make things better for us. Or, we sit and wait for things to change. God's instruction calls us to adopt HIS victor mindset. In Him our victories are won. But we can't just sit there. He instructs us to draw near to Him.
