Melt Into God

Psalm 119:28
My soul melts from heaviness; Strengthen me according to Your word.

This message is about surrender and alignment with God. We’ll explore the reasons we resist the healing or refining process and hear God’s word on overcoming those things.

excerpt: “I saw an ice cube and a river of flowing water. I noticed how when the ice cube was placed in the water, it flowed with it, melting along the way, and that the ice cube wasn’t disappearing but becoming part of the flowing water. Then God whispered to me, you’re the ice cube, I’m the flowing water. I want you to melt more into me but you keep jumping out of the water and back into the freezer, avoiding the ‘melt’. Sit with me and let’s explore what that’s all about… “

Stoking the Heart Fire

Luke 24:49
“And now I will send the Holy Spirit, just as my Father promised. But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven.”

This message explores the ways God stokes the heart fires of our purpose, putting out the hair fires that keep us exhausted and distracted.

excerpt: “When I was growing up we went camping a lot, and my favorite part was building the campfire. Once lit, my goal was to keep the flames going as long as I could. My mom taught me to blow on it after adding new wood, explaining that the coals needed oxygen to get hot enough to set the new wood on fire. Being the exuberant child that I was, I blew as hard as I could, only to feel the sting of flying embers but no stoked fire. I had to learn that slow and steady puffs of oxygen were more powerful than my big bursts of air.

God reminded me of this recently when I was making BIG plans. Using the image of my youthful attempts to stoke hot coals into a blazing fire, He whispered to me, ‘Tami, I have plans for you, but let My Spirit move you. Don’t start without Me or you’ll feel the sting of flying embers.”

Speaker Fees

Here’s the deal… God knows what your budget is and what you can or cannot afford. God also knows what my needs are. HE is my provider whom I fully trust. If we find that I’m a good fit for you, I have all the faith that God already has the fee structure figured out.

At the end of the day, if I’m called to speak of His glory and share His message at your event, I’m not going to let a speaker fee negotiation get in the way of honoring His will!
