For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
This message helps us stop chasing ‘purpose/identity’ and instead embrace the purpose and identity God created us with.
excerpt: “As I sat on the patio that morning, the newly revived pot of zinnias caught my attention and I recalled how less than a year ago it was a dried up pot of leaves that I had given up on.
Then God whispered to me, ‘remember how we sat at this table a year ago when you felt like you no longer had a purpose, just like that dried up pot of leaves? I was wondering, have you noticed how you’re living full of the color I created you to shine with, like this newly revived pot of blooming flowers?’ ”
My soul melts from heaviness; Strengthen me according to Your word.
This message is about learning to melt more into Jesus. We’ll explore the reasons we resist the healing or refining process and hear God’s word on overcoming those things.
excerpt: “God showed me an ice cube and a river of flowing water. He showed me how when the ice cube was placed in the water, it flowed with it, melting along the way. He pointed out how the ice cube wasn’t disappearing but becoming part of the flowing water.
Then He whispered to me, you’re the ice cube, I’m the flowing water. I want you to melt more into me but you keep jumping out of the water and back into the freezer, avoiding the ‘melt’. Sit with me and let’s explore what that’s all about… ”
1 Peter 2:2-3
Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.
This message uses the comparison of physical eating habits to the feeding habits we develop to nourish our soul – and then explores ways to take awareness of ‘junk food’ habits and replace them with soul nourishing habits.
excerpt: “I sat at His table for two completely defeated in mind and spirit. I cried out for Him to ‘fix it’ (all the brokenness and pain of my situation) but He was waiting for me to look beyond the ‘fixing’ and seek His healing.
The quick snacks of a devotional here and a spritz of prayer there no longer sustained me. Feeding my hungry soul with the junk foods of distraction, shopping, overworking, busyness, etc. had left me empty. In this new awareness of my soul’s hunger, God began to feed my soul and do a healing work in my life.”
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
This message helps us see how God wants us to focus on the ‘for’ and not the ‘from’ and how this shift of focus allows Him to heal wounds that are holding us back.
excerpt: “As I read the text from my sister, my heart broke all over again. What I thought was going to be a weekend of restoration was now shattered. Soon anger began to eclipse the heart break. I wanted to lash out with a retaliatory text, but His Spirit beckoned me to come sit and chat first.
I took my validated and rightful hurt and anger to God, venting at first and then asking Him to fix the situation. Of course, the fix I was asking for was ‘my fix’. God waited for me to take a breath and then whispered to my heart, ‘Tami, abandon what you want from your sister and claim what I want for her and for you.’ ”
“And now I will send the Holy Spirit, just as my Father promised. But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven.”
This message explores the ways God stokes the heart fires of our purpose, putting out the hair fires that keep us exhausted and distracted.
excerpt: “When I was growing up we went camping a lot, and my favorite part was building the campfire. Once lit, my goal was to keep the flames going as long as I could. My mom taught me to blow on it after adding new wood, explaining that the coals needed oxygen to get hot enough to set the new wood on fire.
Being the exuberant child that I was, I blew as hard as I could, only to feel the sting of flying embers but no stoked fire. I had to learn that slow and steady puffs of oxygen were more powerful than my big bursts of air.
God reminded me of this recently when I was making BIG plans. Using the image of my youthful attempts to stoke hot coals into a blazing fire, He whispered to me, ‘Tami, I have big plans for you, but let My Spirit move you. Don’t start without Me.”

Speaker Fees
Here’s the deal… God knows what your budget is and what you can or cannot afford. God also knows what my needs are. HE is my provider whom I fully trust. If we find that I’m a good fit for you, I have all the faith that God already has the fee structure figured out.
At the end of the day, if I’m called to speak of His glory and share His message at your event, I’m not going to let a speaker fee negotiation get in the way of honoring His will!
